Redundancies and Dismissals

Have you got all your ducks in a row?

When an employment tribunal makes a finding of unfair dismissal, it may make an order for reinstatement, re-engagement or compensation. Employees rarely ask for reinstatement or re-engagement and, even if they do, tribunals don't usually go there. More than nine times out of ten, if you lose - it'll cost you.

This is where mhl support comes in. We can act as your legal department and guide you through the red tape of employment law and making redundancies while you get on with your business. We'll make sure you've got your ducks in a row before you fire the gun.

Employees have the right not to be unfairly dismissed by their employers under provisions contained in the Employment Right Act 1996, part X.

But what constitutes 'unfair' in our modern, politically correct society? Do you know?
