Subcontractor Tax Rise

HM Revenue and Customs have announced that from the 6 April 2007, the subcontractor standard tax deduction rate will rise from 18% to 20%. In addition to this, and under the new CIS Scheme, all non-registered subcontractors will have a tax deduction rate of 30%.
